Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-05
These basic terms apply to your use of PayMeNow, including accounts created through a partner. They describe the service, your responsibilities, and payment-related risks. They should be reviewed by legal counsel before production reliance.
Using the service
Review these terms before using PayMeNow. On your first sign-in the dashboard shows these terms and asks you to accept them; selecting Accept and continue records your acceptance of this version. Payments for your account are disabled until you accept. Creating an account through a partner or receiving a welcome email does not itself establish your acceptance.
You must be legally able to enter an agreement. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Keep your account access and secret keys secure, and provide accurate contact and business information.
Your products and customers
You are responsible for the products or services you offer, their pricing and descriptions, delivery, customer support, taxes, and compliance with applicable law. Do not use PayMeNow for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or Stripe-prohibited activity.
You must have any permissions needed to collect and use customer information. Do not send card numbers or identity documents to PayMeNow support, or expose secret keys in a browser or public repository.
Stripe and payment processing
Stripe provides payment processing, connected-account verification, settlement, and bank payouts. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's applicable agreements and restrictions. PayMeNow is not a bank and does not guarantee Stripe approval, uninterrupted processing, or a particular payout date.
Payments can be declined, delayed, disputed, refunded, or restricted. Account verification and capability changes can affect payment routing. Funds shown as pending, held, or scheduled for payout are not necessarily available for immediate withdrawal.
Held funds and transfers
When direct card payments are unavailable, successful payments may be accepted on the PayMeNow platform and tracked as held funds. Once the connected account is ready and funding is available, you must review and confirm a transfer in Payments. Onboarding, status checks, and webhooks do not automatically initiate transfers.
Review the currency, any available conversion rate and conversion costs, and the amount reaching Stripe before confirming. An earlier payment-settlement conversion may already have occurred. Separate settlement or bank-payout charges may apply under Stripe's agreements.
A completed PayMeNow transfer means funds reached the connected Stripe account; it does not establish that a bank payout has completed. See Payouts for the transfer and payout process.
Refunds, disputes, and testing
You are responsible for addressing customer complaints and any refund or dispute obligations applicable to your transactions. Refunds and chargebacks can reduce balances or create amounts you owe. Use the appropriate Stripe or PayMeNow process for the account on which a payment was created.
The dashboard Test tab uses the configured Stripe credentials. Live credentials can produce real charges; only Stripe test credentials or sandboxes simulate payments without moving real money.
Service availability and liability
To the extent permitted by law, PayMeNow is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. You acknowledge normal operational, payment-processing, fraud, settlement, and currency-conversion risks. PayMeNow does not guarantee revenue, payment success, or the availability of third-party services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PayMeNow is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits arising from service interruption or third-party processing delays. This is not a blanket waiver of all claims. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any obligation or right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Suspension and changes
PayMeNow may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, regulatory obligations, or Stripe requirements. Account restrictions do not erase outstanding payment, refund, dispute, or transfer obligations.
Changes to these terms will be published with a new version. Where law requires additional notice or agreement, publication alone is not a substitute for it.
Questions
For questions about these terms or an account restriction, use your existing PayMeNow or partner support contact. For bank-payout and identity-verification status, consult Stripe Express. Keep the PMN transfer ID and any Stripe reference available when reporting a payment issue.
